What is DirJack?

DirJack is a tiny, usefull tool to support your daily project work. It has been evolved from the requirements of a concrete project. Different directories had to be monitored to be able to think on one's feet if changes occur.

In the beginning, as it probably is in every project, you develop tools which are specifically written for a unique purpose. This is mainly caused by scarce resources, especially time and money. DirJack was also born that way.

As time went by different inquiries for using DirJack in other projects came up. However, that resulted in the need of further work to adjust DirJack.

Well, the idea to "refurnish" DirJack was born and to make it as generic as possible.
